Working principle of fatigue testing machine

Fatigue testing machines simulate the stress conditions of materials or products under long-term cyclic loads to test and evaluate their fatigue life, fatigue limit, and other performance. According to different working principles, fatigue testing machines can be divided into the following categories:

High frequency resonant fatigue testing machine: Dynamic loading is carried out by generating resonance at the natural frequency of the resonant system (resonator), which is excited by the electromagnetic system to resonate. Its characteristics are small to medium loads (10KN~1000KN) and high frequencies (60~300Hz), but the frequency adjustment is limited and can only choose a fixed gear, which cannot be finely adjusted and is not suitable for high-precision testing needs.
Hydraulic fatigue testing machine: driven by hydraulic cylinders, using a hydraulic servo system to apply cyclic loads. Its characteristics are medium to large loads (20KN~3000KN), low frequency (generally recommended ≤ 10Hz, otherwise it will accelerate the wear of hydraulic servo valves, sealing rings and other components), high energy consumption, high noise, and high maintenance costs.
Electromagnetic fatigue testing machine: using a linear motor (actuator) to directly convert electrical energy into linear motion, without the need for hydraulic or resonant structures. Its characteristics are high precision, no pollution, low maintenance, energy saving, and suitable for small and medium-sized loads, high frequency, and high-precision testing fields.
