Overview
The HDSS-Ⅱ permeability tester features meticulous craftsmanship and high testing accuracy. It is suitable for determining the water permeability coefficient of asphalt pavement and compacted asphalt mixture specimens, thereby evaluating the pavement’s water permeability performance and aiding in the design of asphalt mixture mix proportions.
This instrument complies with the JTG E20-2011 Code for Asphalt and Mixtures Testing in Highway Engineering and the JTG3450-2019 Code for Field Testing of Highway Subgrades and Pavements.
Technical Parameters
The graduated cylinder is made of acrylic and mounted on the upper part of the instrument, with a capacity of approximately 600 ml. It is marked with graduations, featuring a resolution of 2 ml, and includes bold markings at the 100 ml and 500 ml marks.
Take over: Connect the graduated cylinder to the base, with a valve installed in between for starting and stopping the experiment.
The opening at the bottom of the base has an inner diameter of φ150 mm and an outer diameter of φ220 mm. The support consists of a vertical post and a top plate.
There are two counterweight blocks, each weighing approximately 5 kg, with an inner diameter of Φ160 mm. There is one seepage surface collar, with a bottom diameter of 150 mm.
