The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) testing apparatus is used to conduct CBR tests on various soils as well as pavement base and subbase materials after specimens are prepared within a specified test cylinder. This test shall comply with the JTG 3430–2020 Code for Highway Geotechnical Testing and the GB/T 50123–2019 Standard for Geotechnical Testing Methods. The maximum particle size of the mixture shall be limited to 25 mm, with a maximum not exceeding 40 mm.
