Overview
The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) testing apparatus is used to conduct CBR tests on various soils as well as pavement base and subbase materials, after specimens have been prepared within a specified test cylinder. It complies with the Highway Geotechnical Testing Procedures TG3430–2020 and the Standard for Geotechnical Testing Methods GBT50123–2019.
The maximum particle size of the mixture should be kept within 25 mm, with a maximum not exceeding 40 mm.
