The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) testing apparatus is used to conduct CBR tests on various soils as well as pavement base and subbase materials after specimens are prepared within a specified test cylinder. This test shall comply with the JTG 3430–2020 Code for Highway Geotechnical Testing and the GB/T 50123–2019 Standard for Geotechnical Test Methods. The maximum particle size of the mixture shall be controlled within 25 mm, with a maximum limit of 40 mm.

The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) testing apparatus is used to conduct CBR tests on various soils as well as pavement base and subbase materials, after specimens have been prepared within a specified test cylinder.
